Because what would I do? I am human…you could kill me easily whenever you wanted. I won’t judge if you need someone to talk to.
{pauses for a long time.} All right. But speak a word of it and I will kill you. {he sighs} I recently birthed triplets…and the father is my dearest friend. Now, I was impregnated via gray faces. I just—…long story short, I want my children to have nothing to do with a certain person in relation to my friend. She has no claim to them.
-waits patiently, not wanting to force him to say anything- ..Ahh, I see. May I ask…why do you not want them to be near your kids? Is she really that bad?

I never cease to marvel at the arrogance and stupidity of the human race.
Not all of the human race is stupid. Some of us can be quite intelligent, thank you.
And yet, you are all still arrogant.
-scoffs and shakes her head- A great many are, yes. But not all. What has brought this on?
And why should I tell you?
Because I am friends with those you care about. I’m no threat.
Threat or not, why should I trust you?
Because what would I do? I am human…you could kill me easily whenever you wanted. I won’t judge if you need someone to talk to.

Jane often worried for Golden, as it seemed that he was having more and more of a difficult time in coming to see her. He had disappeared for a good chunk of time when finally she decided to hunt him down. At one point he had given her an address as to where to find him in case of a true emergency, and on a cloudy day where she hadn’t heard from him in weeks she grabbed that paper with the address and left. Luckily she was in a position to be able to leave. Her work was going well, and Jane had earned a vacation.
Once she finally found the location she took a cab to the house. Oh boy…this would be sometime. Jane knew Golden did not live alone. Carefully and quietly she approached the house, and after many minutes of berating herself and talking in and out of leaving…she knocked.
Knock knock knock.
Oh god, please don’t be someone that wants to kill me.
Thomas was sitting in the quiet of his home today, many of his family members out doing other things. He took that time to catch up on emails and read over some scripts for some upcoming pictures he wanted to be apart of. Running through the lines, he sat back in the chair and sipped his tea before hearing a soft knock at his door. Frowning, he looked at the clock above the fireplace. He wasn’t expecting anyone home for several more hours.
Setting his tea down he got to his feet and padded barefoot to the door, unlocking it before pulling it open to see the brunette standing there. “Hello.”
For several moments she honestly hoped that no one would answer the door, which was idiotic. She bought the plane ticket, paid for the cab…so much money had been spent already, and she had decided finding Golden was important enough to her. It was worth it. He would have told her if he was planning a trip back to his home, which she doubted would happen anyway. Jane tucked her hair behind her ears, hummed softly, and waited.
And then nearly jumped out of her skin when someone actually DID answer the door.
“Oh! Uh..hello,” she squeaked, then cleared her throat. “Hello, my name is Jane Foster…I am looking for Thor? Or…he goes by Golden.”
